Awesome! Really nice curry and the place is cosy. It is smart to make a reservation because everyone likes the place 🙂

A positive about this place is that it's open on a Sunday when many other places are closed.
I had the lamb madras and plain rice - it was tasty... read more but the portions are small compared both to Portuguese restaurants and our local Indian restaurant in the UK.
Other half had Tandoori chicken and fries which at 13euro was both expensive and disappointing with very little meat - I note that the receipt say "legs" but I don't recall that being part of the menu description. Where we eat in the UK, Tandoori chicken is half a decent sized chicken and with chips would cost 11.50euro (at £1=1.15 euro)
Given most other reviews are very positive it seems that we are perhaps comparing a Portuguese Indian restaurant unfavourably with both traditional Portuguese and UK Indian restaurants but it fails for us.

We loved the samosa starter. I had a veg biryani and my husband had a veg korma. We were a little disappointed with the portion size of the veg korma... read more ,it could of been bigger as there was plenty of pilau rice to accompany it. My biryani was adequate size portion but I have been served more food numerous times in Indian restaurants. Great tasting food just a little short on the amount.

As the title states this place really did serve me the best Indian food since I last visited India's capital New Delhi.
I came here with my wife and everything... read more we tasted was truly authentic Indian food.
The restaurant itself is very clean, the decor very pleasant and the staff very attentive and polite.
We tried the Butter chicken and dhall makhani finished off with a dessert of Gulab jamun. The whole meal really was amazing.
